Primetime Emmy Awards: Jeremy Allen White, Liza Colón-Zayas, Ebon Moss-Bachrach Join Cast of Season 2
Jeremy Allen White, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will join the cast of "The Bear" for its second season.
The trio of actors will play new characters in the critically acclaimed FX comedy, which follows the ups and downs of a young chef (Jeremy Allen White) who takes over his family's struggling Chicago sandwich shop.
White will play Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto, a young chef who returns home to Chicago to run his family's Italian beef sandwich shop after his brother commits suicide. Colón-Zayas will play Tina, a sous chef at the restaurant, and Moss-Bachrach will play Richie, a "fixer" who helps Carmy with the restaurant's finances.
The first season of "The Bear" was a critical success, earning rave reviews for its writing, directing, and performances. The show was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, and White won the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
The second season of "The Bear" is expected to premiere in 2024.
